Senior Backend & Platform Engineer

Backend depth.
Ownership beyond the code.

12+ years building and operating systems: enterprise payments, large-scale data platforms, and early-stage products. I connect architecture, hands-on delivery, and what happens on call.

Making marketplace data dependable at scale.

Seller analytics depended on reliable data from hundreds of external marketplaces.

I re-architected ingestion into event-driven services with automated validation and owned the observability stack. The platform processed 30+ TB a month; incident recovery went from hours to minutes.

Keeping enterprise checkout moving.

Merchant integrations needed fixes across payment flows, browser behavior, and multiple SDK versions.

I resolved 50+ production issues, shipped payment instrumentation and browser support end-to-end, and backported test coverage to legacy SDK branches. This unblocked checkout flows and reduced escalations to the core SDK team.

Turning incident threads into shared knowledge.

Recurring on-call questions needed a reusable knowledge base across six SDK surfaces.

I built and deployed an agentic workflow connecting Slack, Jira, and Confluence. It classifies incident threads into tickets and records resolutions in a 55-article knowledge base, making previous investigations available to the next person on call.

Building the product and the way to ship it.

A small startup needed an MVP and the engineering foundations to keep iterating.

I owned architecture and delivery while leading three engineers. Alongside the application, I built deployment pipelines and established testing, API documentation, and monitoring, giving the team a repeatable path from a change to production.

APO — Autonomous Payment Orchestrator

From a payment request to a controlled execution: independent policy checks, durable retries, an idempotent payment core, and double-entry accounting.

My contribution
Directed an AI-built system, defined execution boundaries, recorded tradeoffs in ADRs, and shaped a scenario-based demo.
Result
A public interactive demo with simulated payments and real backend execution. Cloud verification confirmed a completed payment, ten safe repeat deliveries, and persistence after a VM restart.

Practical TypeScript Refresher

An open-source handbook for returning TypeScript developers, with explained exercises, searchable code, and practical examples in three languages.

My contribution
Defined the scope and learning flow; directed AI-assisted content, reader development, and localization.
Result
Published 14 chapters and shared coding practice in English, Spanish, and Russian, with automated checks for examples and generated pages.

How I work

Hands-on engineering.
A wider field of responsibility.

My work also includes making teams more effective. At HypeAuditor, I established the QA function, hired its lead, and defined the release process. At EasyCommerce, I worked across backend, data, QA, support, and DevOps to connect product needs with reliable delivery.

I’ve worked as a staff engineer and an engineering lead, and I stay close to the implementation. My scope includes turning product needs into technical plans, helping teams make decisions, and owning the reliability of what we ship.
